Carla

Carla Ruas was born in Brazil and started dancing ballet at age 3. At age 13, she switched to jazz and competed in multiple dance competitions in her native state, Rio Grande do Sul. Carla also trained in gymnastics, hip-hop, and belly dancing. As a mother of two little girls (ballerinas in the making), she loves teaching kids the love for dance. She hopes they will grow up to become active, healthy, and with an appreciation for the arts.
